1. What exactly does it do?

Landsat Web Tracker is a research friendly web interface where you can:

examine Landsat routes to track when satellite passes over specific locations,
access and visualize it's data,
choose when to get notifications about the satellite's whereabouts,
download data about our environment and explore satelite imagery.

2. How does it work?

After crating an account users get access to a map where they can pick a time range, cloud coverage, input or choose the location they want. This generates scenes containing pixels that meet the given conditions. People can choose whether they want to get a report containing advanced metadata, bands views and reflectance analysis . Downloading the data is also available in PDF and CSV formats. Users can also choose pixels and get reminders when Landsat flies above them sent to their emails.

3. What benefits does it have?

Examining Landsat route, our solution displays information about when Landsat 8 & 9 will be passing over selected location.
Calibration and data reference, our solution allows user easy calibration and error correction of own measurements with Landsat data.
Accessing Landsat data, our solution skips process of searching and applying for Landsat Data.
Downloading Landsat data, our solution skips hard to overcome as non-technical person process of accessing data through API interfaces.
Visualizing Landsat data, our solution visualizes selected data through bands views like NVDI, vegetation index, true color, false color.

4. What do we hope to achieve?

Our goal is to provide high quality and easy to access satellite data to:

allow easy calibration and error correcting of amateur measurements,
simplify research utilizing satellite data,
simplify efficient urban planning,
encourage discussion about climate change,
