Get ready for the most epic hackathon of all time! We're talking about the NASA International Space Apps Challenge, folks! And guess where it's happening? None other than the innovation hub itself, Mountain View, in Silicon Valley, California! This place is buzzing with creativity and international cooperation, making it the perfect spot for this mind-blowing event.

Оur hyper-energetic Local Lead Martina Dimoska, and her stellar team are going all out to make this experience out-of-this-world. Our hybrid model allows you to participate either on-site or online. So, get your IDs ready if you want to be part of the action in person. But don't worry if you can't make it physically; we've got you covered by participating online too! You can immerse yourself in the event from anywhere in the world, watch the on-site excitement through a live stream, and connect seamlessly with the teams. How cool is that?

Join us for this year's theme of "Explore Open Science Together" in collaboration with NASA's Transform to Open Science (TOPS). Space Apps and NASA TOPS invite all agencies, organizations, and communities to come together in celebration of this year's theme to engage in #OpenScience and create an inclusive culture of scientific discovery and innovation.

We are calling all space enthusiasts! If you're a software engineer, designer, UI/UX analyst, writer, or artist, we want you on board. Our challenges cover a wide range of themes like robotics, software, education, medicine, and so much more. Show off your skills and technological wizardry because this is your chance to shine!

We're all about diversity and collaboration here. We love bringing together teams with different backgrounds and learning from each other. Our community is a safe and welcoming space for anyone who wants to jump into action. So, let your imagination run wild and contribute to applications and projects that solve problems or introduce groundbreaking ideas. And guess what? You can even make use of NASA's mind-blowing open data if you want to take things to the next level.

We've got some exciting news for you! Mountain View will have its own local event winners, and select projects will be nominated for global judging. How awesome is that? But hold on, we've got even more in store. We're introducing a freestyle category for those of you who want to tackle space-related projects of any kind. These projects won't be eligible for global judging but don't worry; we'll still give them the recognition they deserve. We're particularly interested in freestyle projects that explore art, advanced visualization, and open-source 3D engines. Let your creativity soar!

LifeShip is a human space movement to spread life from Earth in the Universe. Our first mission is a seed bank, cultural archive, and DNA biobank on the Moon.

LifeShip offers consumer products for people to add their DNA, photos, messages, and stories to the capsules. Additionally, we are a B2B space capsule as a service platform. Organizations can add content to this billion-year archive on the Moon.

LifeShip Moon Kit is offering to send your DNA and story in a time capsule to the Moon for the members of the winning team.

LifeShip can offer teams data content in the capsule going to the Moon. Teams can build apps and services that utilize this space capsule as a service, engage the public around space, create messages in a bottle from humanity, create cultural collections of humanity, and more.

LifeShip can offer 10MB of data for free to teams as part of this hackathon.

LifeShip's mission is to back up Earth and populate the stars. Their first mission is a lunar time capsule that is a plant seed bank, a DNA population bank of humanity and Earth's biodiversity and a cultural record message from humanity.

People who join LifeShip now by purchasing their kit will get their DNA flown on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and Firefly Aerospace lunar lander with a launch planned for the 2nd half of 2024. MoonDAO is a global, mission-driven community that’s decentralizing access to space research and exploration

ICEE.Space - Analogue Astronaut missions
